  The two bedroom two bath condo which one had was a great value! The view from the balcony down to the pool area was beautiful and the weather provided an opportunity for many al fresco meals. There's a city bus stop just a block away and - for walkers or joggers - just two blocks from a major sidewalk that goes along the southern side of the island.

  I stayed at Sunrise Suites with my sister for three nights. We both thought the front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful. The facilities were clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped - they provided dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Plenty of towels, toilet paper and tissues too, plus shampoo and conditioner. The swimming pool was a bit too warm for my liking but lovely nonetheless. They will give you pool towels to borrow. You do hear the planes from Key West airport (but it's a small airport so not like living next door to JFK!) and it's not enough to disturb the tranquility and you don't hear them at night or if your balcony door is closed. We had a view of the pool and palm trees. The location is great - about a 10 minute drive to downtown Key West and to Fort Zachary. Parking was easy - park at City Hall parking lot NOT Mallory Square ($1.50/hr instead of $4/hr). For a stunning, quiet, relaxing sunset, watch it at Fort Zachary beach park. You can also see it from Mallory Square but it's much busier there. We'd definitely stay here again if we go back to Key West.

  If your looking for a place to stay for a few days here's the place. It's not the Ritz Carlton but it's great for that quick get away. We traveled with another couple and the accomodations were comfortable and yet provided each couple the privacy we needed in sharing the suite. Recommend paying the extra charge for cleaning but remember to mention to the reception desk when your leaving for the day so the room can be clean. They need to create a system during check-in to give a door sign to guest who are paying for this service. No sign in the room. Other than that I would recommend Sunrise Suites if your planning on staying in the Keys for 3-4 days.

  A friend of mine and I used Key West as an escape from the blizzards hitting the North East this year. We pulled a double jetski trailer down behind a large truck. We found the staff at the property to be very accommodating and there was ample parking for the truck and trailer...the staff also guided us to several free boat launches close by. The room was clean, large and nicely appointed. I definitely shopped around before booking and this was by far the best deal for the dollar. The catch is that downtown isn't very close, we brought scooters with us so this wasn't a problem at all. For others though, plan on renting a bike/scooter/taxi if you don't have a car. In summary, I would definitely recommend the property and plan to use it again the next time I visit.
